Canada is one of the most significant suppliers of natural resources in the global market and currently ranks among the top 5 producers worldwide in eleven commodities (uranium, potash, nickel, cobalt, titanium, platinum group metals (PGM), aluminum, diamonds, zinc, molybdenum, and rock salt). Additionally, as a country with vast landmass (28 times larger than Germany), Canada holds considerable untapped resource potential, not only in base metals but also in strategically important metals, including those highly sought after in current technologies (rare earth elements, tantalum, tungsten, etc.).
